Seeking to defend his deplorable actions in his capacity as head of the commission appointed by the so-called human rights agency and as a Jew, Justice Richard Goldstone, who headed the United Nations Human Rights Commission probe into Operation Cast Lead, stated that as a Jew, he is even more obliged to probe war crimes and injustices.
It was the retired judge’s report that recently accused Israel of war crimes in last year’s counter-terror offensive in Gaza intended to bring an end to over seven years of rocket-fire into southern Israel.
Goldstone told CNN that he is saddened by those who feel he should not probe Israel because he is Jewish, stating that is why he has a greater obligation to do just that.
He told CNN that the acts which occurred in Gaza are not comparable to events in Yugoslavia or Apartheid S. Africa, stating it is his genuine hope that his commission’s report will compel all sides to launch their own internal investigation.
Israel has already rejected Goldstone’s commission, its findings, and calls for an internal probe, stating the IDF remains the most moral military in the world. Officials in Yerushalayim stated it was clear to all that the UN commission had already decided the outcome of the report before setting out on its mission, questioning the hypocrisy of the UN, which systematically turned a blind eye to over seven years of rocket attacks, while over 8,000 rockets pounded civilian population centers, and now, gives legitimacy to Gazan-based Hamas-sponsored terrorism.
He stated Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu apparently did not understand the commission’s report, stressing that he is not critical of Israel’s right to defend herself, but did find the methods used objectionable.
In a pathetic and deplorable move seeking to exhibit his Jewish identity and love for Eretz Yisrael, Goldstone used the CNN forum to reiterate his love of Israel, stating that while he has many friends in Israel, he is not planning a visit in the near future. YWN-Israel adds he will not be missed.

The bottom line is that he rejects any difference bein yisroel lo’amim, he explicitly believes and insists that the life of a “Palestinian” antisemite is just as valuable as that of a yid; and the pathetic thing is that he thinks this is some sort of Jewish value.

Does he really think because he launched his investigation, the arabs will launch theirs?
then he states he finds the methods objectionable? Well what would be appropriate?
To purposely should at random?
To cause our own casualties?
to go in unarmed?
to allow unlimited shootings and rockets?
To ignore shooting from behind women’s skirts?
Belongs in the same catagory as Neturei Karta and Jimmy Carter – personna non grata – UNWELCOME -in the Jewish community. UNWELCOME in Jewish schools, Jewish schuls, Jewish simchas, and most of all, should be formally banned from entry to Israel as an enemy of the state.
