Another tragedy has befallen Am Yisrael with the petira of HaAdmor Rav Shmuel Tzvi Rosenfeld zt”l, a brother-in-law of the Lelov Rebbe zt”l who was niftar on Yom Kippur. Rav Rosenfeld was niftar on motzei shabbos/first day yomtov at the age of 65. He leaves behind his rebbitzin and 9 children.
Rav Rosenfeld was known as the Admor of Lelov-Karlin Bnei Brak, a son-in-law of Rav Moshe Mordechai of Lelov zt”l and a brother of the Admor of Pinsk-Karlin.
About a month ago, he suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. On yomtov, his condition deteriorated significantly and he was taken to the hospital. The levaya was held on motzei shabbos at 10:00pm.
