The makeshift beis medresh in the northern Shomron community of Chomesh was dismantled by IDF soldiers on Thursday as the battle for and against resettling the community continues.

Chomesh, and nearby SaNur, were dismantled under then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s “Disengagement Plan” , along with the communities of Gaza.

Chomesh First activists vow to continue rebuilding, determined to resettle their former home, committed to continue building areas of Eretz Yisrael. They added that they feel the soldiers who took part in the destruction of the beis medresh on Thursday were “brainwashed” by authorities.
