Minister of Culture & Sport (Likud) Limor Livnat on Wednesday visited the Shomron communities of Chorsha and Yovel both viewed by the government as unauthorized outposts, both the subject of Supreme Court petitions by the left-wing Peace Now organization, which seeks their removal.
Livnat stressed in statements to the media that the outposts are on state land, and they were established by Israeli governments. She called for completing the paperwork to make them legal, a more fitting move than permitting them to remain as unauthorized and then removing them.
In reference to the expulsion of Jews from Gaza and N. Shomron communities, she stated we all know now that was a mistake, one that mustn’t be repeated.
