A man in custody accused of stalking IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gabi Ashkenazi denies the allegations against him, insisting he does not even know how the commander looks.

Rawi Sultani, a resident of Taibeh, is accused of gathering information pertaining to Ashkenazi’s daily routine, information intended for Hizbullah. He was recently arrested for his alleged actions, which surrounded attending the same Rishon L’Tzion gym as the military commander.

Sultani told reporters he is confident that he will be exonerated, insisting he is not familiar with Ashkenazi.

Interestingly, Channel 10 TV news on Tuesday evening showed photos of the suspect holding a weapon, standing alongside Hizbullah terrorist Suleiman Harav.
