Netanyahu & Mitchell to Meet Again on Wednesday

bimn1.jpgPrime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US Mideast envoy George Mitchell are meeting on Wednesday for a second time in 24 hours.

Report on Tuesday indicated the two did not reach agreement that would permit a meeting in New York City next week that would include US President Barak Obama and PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen).

America seems determined to compel a total construction freeze throughout Yehuda, Shomron and Jerusalem, and at least for now, the prime minister is not giving in, insisting on a conditional and partial freeze.

Abu Mazen reiterated his position on Tuesday, that there will be no resumption of diplomatic ties with Israel for as long as the prime minister does not accept America’s demands. Obama is hoping to arrange a trilateral meeting in NYC next week where the three will be attending the United Nations General Assembly.

  1. “Abu Mazen reiterated his position on Tuesday, that there will be no resumption of diplomatic ties with Israel” – – OH NO! – this is TERRIBLE! Does this mean the PA will not be selling any high-tech equipment or urinated-on fruits and vegetables to Israel?!? OH MY, what will we do?!?!

  2. I think the meeting should be cancelled as the US is negotiating for terrorists. I say this part tongue in cheek and part serious.
