According to Arab media reports, the fact the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak met in Cairo on Sunday with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, during Ramadan, signaled the priority surrounding the meeting, stating with absolute certainty this was not a standard diplomatic event.
The prime minister and his Egyptian counterpart reportedly discussed a number of pertinent issues, but the Arab media reports seem to highlight there may be some accuracy to recent Arab media reports of an imminent deal regarding captive soldier Gilad Shalit. One can only hope so and continue davening towards realizing this objective.
The prime minister remained vague following the meeting, avoiding detailing the meeting with the Egyptian leader.
Accompanying Mr. Netanyahu was Shas leader Deputy Prime Minister Eli Yishai, who delivered a letter to Mubarak from Maran R’ Ovadia Yosef Shlita as well as a tehillim and siddur, which he hopes Mubarak will have delivered to Gilad Shalit.
The prime minister on Monday will brief members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee on his meeting in Cairo.

Now in retrospect we see how important one soldier is we should have continued the gaza offensive non stop until he was released. They would be complaining to the UN and we would say just release release.
