Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday travels to Cairo for a meeting with President Hosni Mubarak. The prime minister is expected to raise a number of issues, including Gilad Shalit and ongoing Egyptian-mediated talks with Hamas, as well as efforts to jumpstart the diplomatic process between Israel and Egypt.
The prime minister is also expected to meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit and General Omar Suleiman, chief of intelligence. Accompanying the prime minister will be Deputy PM Eli Yishai, who last week joined the Mini Cabinet, which now numbers seven ministers.
Members of the press will not be permitted to accompany the prime minister. Some reports indicate Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, who maintains a particularly good relationship with Mubarak, may accompany the prime minister as well, but this is not confirmed.

He’s leaving this Sunday? During the day? I hope not. It’s a Chilul Hashem to be traveling on Rosh Hashana and the whole world knows about it. What kind of Hatzlacha can there be when he travels on Rosh Hashana?
