An assembly was held on Tuesday in Assaf HaRofeh Hospital addressing the nation’s preparedness regarding the expected spread of swine flu during the winter. Among the participants was Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman.
In his opening remarks, Litzman stated Israel is ready to deal with the swine flu, adding the nation’s status was the subject of World Health Organization praise. He added that country is addressing the threat seriously and appropriate prophylactic steps are being taken.
