Rav Mordechai [Tzemach ben Mazel] Eliyahu remains in Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center following emergency surgery last week. The rav was rushed to the hospital after collapsing in his home.
On Wednesday morning, the rabbi was taken off the assisted ventilation and Baruch Hashem, he is breathing unassisted.
While he is reported to be weak, he is “more alert” than yesterday and his family and gabba’im remain encouraged, calling on the tzibur to continue tefillos on the Rav’s behalf.

Baruch Hashem. The Rav should have a speedy recovery.
