Following Wednesday’s meeting in London between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and US Mideast envoy George Mitchell, the latter is expected to return to Israel in about two weeks with the White House’s response.
Mr. Netanyahu spoke of accepting a 9-month freeze on construction throughout Yehuda and Shomron, excluding some 2,500 housing units already in progress. The prime minister also stipulates public buildings must continue, such as schools and daycare centers, pointing out at present, there is a critical shortage of classrooms in Yosh communities.
At the joint press conference that followed their meeting, the two spoke of “progress” and moving ahead to iron out key issues, placing an emphasis on moving ahead to jump start diplomatic relations between Israel and the PA, possibly at next month’s United Nations General Assembly in NYC, where President Barak Obama will join the two leaders for a trilateral summit.

How stupid and naive can we be? Has anyone seen the disgusting rhetoric coming out of the PA lately? What is wrong with us? Why are we always apologizing?

We continue to play the same games we have played for decades. If only we had yiras Hash-m instead of yiras Washington… things COULD BE very different.
