As supporters of Gilad Shalit gather outside the Hadarim and Tel Monde Prisons on Tuesday, prisons housing convicted terrorists, Israel Prison Service have decided to announce it is halting family visitations to prisoners to avoid a standoff between solidarity marchers and families of terrorists. Visitations will continue on schedule at Massiyahu Prison.

The decision to halt visitations on Tuesday has event organizers disappointed, explaining they were hoping to distribute Arabic flyers calling on Hamas to permit visitors to see Shalit, who on Thursday will mark his 23rd birthday, his fourth in captivity.
