6:27PM IL: Two mortar shells fired into southern Israel from Hamas-controlled Gaza landed near Kibbutz Zikim a short time ago. One person sustained light injuries.

About an hour before the attack, IDF soldiers opened fire at three suspicious people suspected of placing an explosive device in the area. One of the terrorists was apprehended and taken for interrogation.
