Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is scheduled to appear before the state committee investigating the treatment of the former residents of Gush Katif. Mr. Olmert is set to appear on September 9th, expected to present facts regarding the government’s responsibilities and promises to the almost 10,000 people uprooted from Gaza in the 2005 Disengagement Plan.

A number of other officials have already appeared before the committee, which is responsible to prepare a comprehensive report evaluating the government’s role in addressing the needs of the former Gaza residents.
