Tuesday Midday News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


A 16-y/o terrorist was apprehended during the night by an undercover border police unit near Chevron. The suspect is linked for bomb and other terror attacks.

**Israel on Tuesday purchased over $100 million dollars after exchange rate dropped to under NIS 3.8/$1.

**Security forces on Tuesday morning destroyed a Chevron area vineyard, which they claim was planted on Arab-owned land. Baruch Marzel was detained for questioning for interfering with IDF Civil Administration agents on the scene.

**Benjamin Regional Council Resident’s Committee officials released a statement that DM Barak is lying to the public, explaining the over 20 so-called unauthorized outposts that he plans to destroy were built with government approval.

**A pipe bomb was discovered in Beit Shean’s Ohf Tov factory, which police believe was placed by “criminal elements”. The bomb was dismantled without incident.

**A 10-y/o boy was transported to Schneider Children’s Hospital in Petach Tikvah in critical condition following advanced life support resuscitation after drowning in a city pool.
