Defense Minister Ehud Barak is angrily calling for an end to the leaks from sessions of the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee.
Barak was referring to closed session of the committee, sessions in which classified matters are discussed, matters not intended for media, stating of late, information from such meetings has made its way to the pages of the press.
In his letter sent to committee chair MK Tzachi Hanegbi, the defense minister stresses the need for locating and halting the leaks, which at times can compromise vital issues.
Hanegbi indicates that he will probe the matter with subcommittee chairmen, and then he will reply.
