Arab MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi has been removed from a political panel discussion event scheduled in a summer camp of Yeshivas Be’er Yaakov.

As in past summers, a political panel composed of a broad range of views is represented, permitting campers to ask difficult questions. According to a Ynet report, Tibi’s participation was nixed at the last minute in response to mounting pressure from supporters and donors who were less than pleased to learn the Arab MK was being given such a forum.

Tibi stated that when asked to participate, he hesitated but decided to respond positively. He expressed disappointment of the yeshiva’s decision, stating he was prepared and would have given comprehensive responses to the questions posed to him.
