Health Ministry officials on Thursday released a water alert for the Modi’in Illit and Benjamin Regional Council areas. Residents of these areas are instructed to boil water prior to drinking or cooking.
It appears the problem stems from the Modi’in Illit resovior, and water authority official hope to rectify the situation by Thursday night.
According to a Israel National News report, communities included in the water alert in addition to Modi’in Illit are Na’ale, Matityahu, Dolev, Nachliel, Nili, and Chasmonaim. Ministry of Health spokesperson Yaakov Izak confirmed the legitimacy of the alert, since earlier on Thursday; Mekorot Water Authority officials denied the alert.

no ram-kol has gone around here, and there wre no notices posted in buildings. I heard from a neighbor. How is everyone here supposed to find out? esp. since most people don’t liste to the radio for news.
