Mahmoud Dahar, who heads the World Health Organization (WHO) in Gaza reports Israel’s ongoing blockage of Gaza prevents medical supplies from entering. Dahar acknowledges that medicines are permitted in under humanitarian aid, but other supplies, such as replacement parts for medical equipment is not permitted across the border crossings controlled by Israel.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor pushed aside the claims, stating that medicines and all medical supplies are permitted into Gaza, emphasizing restrictions do not apply on such items.
