Maran Rav Ovadia Yosef Shlita in his motzei shabbos drasha came out against US President Barak Hussein Obama and other world leaders who feel they can dictate policy in Eretz Yisrael.
The Rav stated “they tell us not to build here and not to build there….as if we are their slaves”. The Rav concluded that Moshiach will come and they will all be gone.
Rav Ovadia added that in the place of the Beis HaMikdosh today there are Arabs and all these wicked people will be ousted when Moshiach arrives. He is waiting for us more than we await his arrival explained the Gadol HaDor. “Only learning Torah will expedite his arrival. Nothing else will help, not bagrut (matriculation) or safrut (literature)”.

Technically, R’ Ovadia is right. On the other hand, how loud will the screeching be if the US decides to cut all aid to Israel? The state can’t expect the money no-strings attached; the only reason the US gives the aid is because it has interests that it’s looking after. If those interests aren’t being advanced, then quite frankly, there is no good reason for the US to keep giving Israel support.
its about time we realize that it is Hashem who looks after us and not the USA, that realization will surely hasten the arrival of Moshiach

One of the reasons The USA gives us money is as payment for the intelligence we provide them with, it is a fact that we run tests on the Russian and Chinese arms we capture from the arabs and provide the US with this info, we also provide them storage space for their military equipment used in Iraq, and Afghanistan so we are not the schnorers the world thinks we are!!!!
Most of the US aid is in the form of credits to buy American goods (jobs for American workers) rather than making the goods in Israel. A cut off of foreign aid would help Israel.
Note that the Rav did not say we should do anything other than learn. He advocated neither warfare nor any specific foreign policy, but rather to let Moshiach take care of matters. Sounds like a “dove” to me.
