Wednesday Morning News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


The Knesset has begun the debate surrounding the state budget. A vote is expected during the afternoon hours. If the budget is not passed by midnight Thursday, the government falls.

**81 PA residents inside Israel proper illegally were rounded up in Shfaram. They are being sent over the Green Line back to PA autonomous areas.

**IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terror operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron arrested five suspects.

**A third suspect was apprehended in Tuesday’s predawn beating of a taxi driver in the Nesher area. The driver reported three drunk youths attacked him and threw him from his vehicle.

**Israel and the United States will soon be conducting a joint Arrow missile launch in the Pacific Ocean.
