Many people were on hand on Monday night for the kabbalas panim for four shabbos protestors released a short time earlier from the Israel Police Russian Compound detention center.

Residents of Meah Shearim and Geula made their way to nearby Zupnik Square to take part in the festivities, the welcoming of the prisoners, which was accompanied by music and dancing.

The four were arrested during the violent shabbos protests against Jerusalem City Hall’s opening of a parking lot, and then remanded until Monday.
