A Jerusalem District Court judge on Thursday extended the remand of a chareidi male who on Wednesday was responsible for a hit and run accident in Ramot Polin in which a toddler was critically injured. The driver fled the scene but was later apprehended in Meah Shearim.
The court had harsh words for the young man, who fled the scene, leaving the toddler and her 25-year-old caretaker on the ground.
The tzibur is requested to continue tefillos for the toddler, Sarah Shira bas Leah Malka, who remains in very serious condition.

To have borrowed someone’s car as an unlicensed individual is akin to have been handling a loaded weapon! And then to have fleed the scene! Shame on him TWICE!
To # 1. Not sure about any anonymous comments, but everyone here in Israel knows the story as was reported: he fled the scene and was caught in Mea Shearim. No real blood on him just bloodshed!
