According to the allegations being leveled against a female cop serving in downtown Jerusalem, as she was earning a livelihood as a law-enforcement agent, she was making a bit extra on the side running a parking lot for her fellow officers.

Everyone knows that parking in the Russian Compound area is extremely limited, so most of her clients were more than pleased to secure a spot for a mere NIS 600 annually. The problem is that the lot that she ran as her own, for over 10 years is actually an empty municipal lot that was set aside to provide free parking for police personnel. The brazen officer took the initiative and presented the lot as if she owns it, and has been collecting for over a decade right under the nose of senior police commanders.

Jerusalem Police Chief Ilan Franco has appointed an officer to oversee the investigation.
