Thursday Afternoon News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


Members of Israel’s Druse community on Thursday morning headed in a vehicular convoy on Route 85 eastbound to protest local municipal council situation. Community members have been maintaining a protest tent outside the Prime Minister’s Office for weeks, demanding equality, pointing out their community serves in the IDF and therefore should receive equal state funding.

**2.5 hours after an elderly gentleman was pronounced dead in a Ramat Gan home, while the crew was waiting for police and agents to remove the body, the ‘dead man’ came to life.
