Thirty-five rabbonim passed the required exams last week, now certified by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel to hold the post of rav of a city. An additional 250 received Yoreh Yoreh, and are now qualified to seek posts as neighborhood rabbanim or a rav in a moshav/kibbutz.
Chief Rabbis Shlomo Amar Shlita and Yona Metzger Shlita gave their brachos to the new rabbanim.
