Over 6,000 children from Bnei Brak will be smiling during this summer’s bein hazmanim, taking part in summer camps run by the city.

Programs will be in 53 of the city’s kindergartens, including 1,800 young women counselors organized by Rav Gavriel Cohen, who heads the kindergarten portfolio in the education department of Bnei Brak City Hall.

Schools will also run summer programs, with officials explaining that due to security concerns, the programs will remain in the schools and not travel. Organizers promise nevertheless, there will be quality programming for the children, adding the seminary girls who will be overseeing the program were hand-picked following stringent interviews, and they are well qualified for the assignment. City Hall adds that there will be security in all buildings, in compliance with Ministry of Education regulations.
