High Court of Justice President Justice Dorit Beinish on Wednesday questioned as to how long does it take to remove a number of unauthorized outposts.

Beinish told the state that the answers given to justify the delay in removing unauthorized outposts are unacceptable, angrily questioning why the state continues the policy of foot-dragging. The court was responding to yet another petition calling for the removal of the outposts, filed by the left-wing Peace Now organization.

Beinish angrily called for compliance, the removal of the unauthorized outposts, without any continued procrastination.

Responding to the court’s determination to expel additional Jews from their homes was MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Yaakov Katz, who stated “The court would not respond as harshly if we were dealing with refugees from Darfur or Bedouin residents of the Negev. It is hoped with the selection of new MKs on the committee to select justices, we will now have justices who exhibit love and compassion for the children of settlers… Even though you are a justice of the High Court, I would expect the hearing would include concerns for the families, the children and infants being displaced, bringing upon them the destruction that you so long for”.

Joining in was fellow Ichud MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, who stated that the High Court only insists on enforcing the law against settlers, but not against Arabs or others.

Officials in the Benjamin Regional Council in Shomron, the largest regional council in Israel stated that the time has come for the High Court to begin exercising its judicial muscle against the tens of thousands of illegal Arab structures. The court is scared to address the Arab sector so its flexes its muscle against the Jews, while ignoring all others.
