It just may be permitted to park a car at a bus stop on Shabbos or Yomtov in major cities around Israel. A bill passed a preliminary reading in Knesset on Wednesday which would permit parking at a yellow and red bus stop curb in a major city in which public transportation is halted on Shabbos and Yomtov.

Unfortunately, even if passed, the bill would do nothing for the Shomer Shabbos community since a vehicle would have to be moved from a bus stop no less than one hour before the end of Shabbos.
