Georgette (69) and Josephine (67) Moussa, who hold a number of passports, were taken into custody in Lebanon’s Beirut Airport. According to a Hizbullah TV report, Georgette, who told authorities that she lives in Israel, admitted to voting. Josephine on the other hand, who has an American passport and reports to live in the United States, denies having voted in this week’s national election. Josephine also has an Israeli passport.
Of late, Lebanese authorities have made dozens of arrests in an alleged Israel spy operation. There is no report connecting these latest arrests to the recent spy reports.
Authorities handed them over to intelligence officials for questioning, with the report adding the two are residents of PA areas. Israel announced it is checking into the report that the two women with Israeli passports are in custody.
