Maran HaGaon Rav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv is calling on the chareidi residents of Kiryat Yovel to act ‘b’darchei noam’, to avoid confrontation in seeking to resolve differences with the community’s secular majority.
In his bracha to the community, HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Aurbach, during a hachnasas sefer torah this week spoke of the mesirus nefesh and the quality of the community leaders, joined in by Mir Rosh Yeshiva HaGaon HaRav Nosson Tzvi Finkel Shlita.
In his message, Maran Rav Elyashiv Shlita spoke about accomplishing things without conflict, drawing an analogy of the compromise and dialogue surrounding the eruv, stressing the need to act in this fashion whenever possible.

Has anyone noticed the way a gadol hador does things? No machlokes. No making a Chillul Hashem. The Gadol Hador sees the complete picture. He sees olam hazeh & olam habah.
