Prof. Eli Porat, who lectures in computer science in Bar Ilan University, has broken many an academic record. Today, he is all of 34 and is a full professor. Bar Ilan’s Prof. Air Amihod, who heads the computer science department, attests to his young colleague’s accomplishments.

Porat studied in the Amit Bar-Ilan High School near the university, and at age 15, was a member of the “Math Genius” program at Bar Ilan and while his classmates were studying for the matriculation exams, he was working on his bachelors’ degree. At age 21, he completed his doctorate studies.
