According to residents of Sokolov Street in Bnei Brak, Dan buses were operating last Shabbos before motzei Shabbos, reporting that three buses of the 402 line, followed by a number 5 bus were operating at 8:15pm. Residents explained that they are aware it was only 7 minutes before the end of Shabbos, but it was certain the drivers set out even earlier to arrive on Sokolov at that time. They explain the trip from the parking lot is at least an additional ten minutes and that means they left their homes much earlier.
According to the Mishpacha report, the chilul Shabbos began much earlier, not just 5 minutes ahead of the permitted time, quoting area residents.
Dan officials do not deny the accuracy of the report, but state the actions of those involved were in contradiction to company directive.
