Opposition leader MK (Kadima) Tzipi Livni released her first major attack at the coalition, accusing the Netanyahu administration of isolating Israel, damaging international relations, compromising talks with Hamas and now, introducing the anti-Nakba bill.
Livni lashed out at Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, stating he is bringing the nation to “diplomatic collapse”, explaining the previous administration was promoting the two-state solution, which earned international support and rallied the world against Hamas. Now she explains, this has fallen to the wayside and the opposite is taking place.
She did not spare words in her criticism of Defense Minister Ehud Barak and the Labor Party, explaining they are now classified as the prime minister’s “natural coalition partners” in Mr. Netanyahu’s words, adding that in the previous administration, Barak prevented the removal of outposts, insisting dialogue was necessary, but now, he appears to have changed his tune.
Livni also stated the passing of the anti-Nakba bill would not solve a thing, insisting the only solution is two states for two peoples.
