The IAF on Monday morning dropped fliers on Hamas-controlled Gaza instructing residents to distance themselves from the border fence to southern Israel.
F-16 fighter jets dropped tens of thousands of fliers over Gaza, warning residents not to come within 300 meters of the border.
“The IDF repeats it is forbidden to come within 300 meters of the border and anyone doing so places himself in danger. The IDF will act appropriately to distance persons from the area.”
PA sources report 12-year-old Mahmud Ahmed Darmish was injured in his back after being struck by fragments from the cartons of fliers. He was transported to a hospital in Gaza.
