In a Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) radio interview on Monday morning, Defense Minister Ehud Barak explained that he does not oppose additions to existing homes throughout Yehuda and Shomron to accommodate natural growth.
Barak stated it is absurd to think the US administration is opposed or concerned with adding on a bedroom as one’s families increases. He stated if there are many children born and a new kindergarten is needed, then a new kindergarten will be constructed.
The minister stated what is important is for the White House to see a true Israeli willingness to advance the diplomatic process with the PA (Palestinian Authority) and Israel’s neighbors.
