Officials fear the body found in the Judean Desert on Sunday is that of missing hiker, 24-year-old Eren Galil, who has been missing for a number of days.

Officials report the body was found near Maale Yishai and a number of personal items including a canteen were found near the yet unidentified body.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding his disappearance to phone 08-955-1222.
