An eighth person has been confirmed to be infected with swine flu in Israel, health officials are reporting.

A 24-year-old male who recently returned from the United States has been diagnosed with the illness, described in good condition in Sheba Medical Center. Elsewhere in the Tel Aviv area, a 32-year-old male remains in isolation in Petach Tikvah’s Ichilov Hospital believed to have contracted the illness as well.
