After a court ruled in favor of the homeowners, authorities have delivered eviction notices to Arab families living in the Shimon HaTzaddik (Sheikh Jarrah) neighborhood of the capital after they have refused to pay rent to the Jewish homeowners. The eviction orders compel them to vacate by July 19th.
The trend is not a new one, part of the Arab struggle to prevent the renewed Jewish presence in the area, seeking to use the Israeli legal system to prevent the Jewish growth in ‘controversial areas’ of the capital as well as to cast doubt on the true legal ownership of the Jews in the eastern area of the capital.

If those areas, which before 1948 belonged to Jews, are now again claimable by Jews, then…
What about other areas, which before 1948 belonged to Arabs? Are they now also claimable by Arabs? Can the Arabs now also claim Deir Yassin, Talbieh, Lifta?
