Egyptian officials on Sunday announced uncovering a half ton weapons cache including explosives and TNT in Sinai. The message from the Egyptians stated bomb-demolition experts were dispatched to the Sheikh Zavid area to deal with the find. Weapons were also found in the underground facility.
 
Just on Friday, the London-based al-Quds al-Arabi reported discovering hundreds of Fajar rockets along with anti-tank rockets and other weapons. According to reports, Egyptian officials of late have stepped up their efforts to prevent weapons smuggling into Gaza.
