President Shimon Peres on Sunday will visit Jordan to address a world economic conference hosted in Amman. The president will use the opportunity to meet with Jordan’s King Abdullah II.

The meeting will be the second between the Jordanian leader and an Israeli official in a number of days, with Abdullah meeting last week with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. The king continues to demand that Israel announce it remains committed to the so-called two-state solution, the declaration of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, a move that would compel an Israeli withdrawal to the pre-1967 Six Day War boundaries.
