HaGaon Rav Mordechai Eliyahu Shlita on Friday underwent a catheterization process on his leg on erev Shabbos and today, Sunday, is reported to be in good condition. The procedure was done in Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.

The Rav has not been feeling well of late, and despite being in a northern area hotel, he canceled his planned appearance at Kever Rashbi on Lag B’Omer. Tests conducted did not reveal the source of the problem, but eventually, it led to the catheterization, which was ordered to clear an obstruction in a leg.

The Rav reportedly davened with a minyan on Shabbos and is recuperating well.
