Jewish Truck Driver Abducted – Saved by a Miracle

On Sunday it was learned that a Jewish truck driver had been abducted and on motzei Shabbos in the Chevron Hills area and saved by a miracle.

The driver was leaving Yishuv Carmel with a truckload of chickens. Two vehicles occupied by Arabs blocked the road, Route 60, and forcibly took the driver from his truck, covered his head with a sack and placed him inside the getaway car. They also used axes and bats to smash windows of the truck.

Authorities arriving at the scene only found broken glass and the driver’s yarmulke, prompting them to fear the worst. The driver was later found in the bushes near Yatir Junction, having been dumped by his abductors. The abandoned truck was found in the village of Dura. The trailer in tow and the chickens that were in the trailer and truck were of course no where to be found.
