One man was shot and wounded by IDF soldiers and a second apprehended as they tried infiltrating into Israel along the Egyptian border on Sunday afternoon.
 
The two were detected riding an ATV, failing to adhere to orders to halt. The wounded man was transported to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva in moderate condition. An Israeli vehicle apparently involved in the attempted infiltration was also apprehended. The two were carrying an unspecified amount of cash and a cellular telephone.
