Passengers on Board Iberia Flight to Tel Aviv Instructed to Remain Home

iberia.jpgPassengers on board Iberia Airlines flight 3752 which arrived in Ben-Gurion International Airport on Saturday, May 2nd, are instructed to remain at home, in voluntary quarantine.

One of the passengers on board the flight, a 20-year-old female from Cholon, was coming home following a three-month stay in Mexico. A medical exam of the woman revealed signs of swine flu, prompting the Health Ministry alert. All the passengers are urged to remain at home for one week. The 20-year-old remains in isolation in Ichilov Hospital.

Treasury officials have allocated NIS 45 million towards addressing the health alert, the purchase of medications and other steps being taken to prepare for a possible pandemic.
