Baruch Hashem what could have been a true tragedy was averted when a “very large pipe bomb” was discovered near a kindergarten in the city of Lod, in the Ganei Aviv neighborhood. After the discovery of the large explosive device, police bomb-demolition technicians safely neutralized the threat.

The device was placed in an ice cream box and fortunately, it was discovered before it went off.

Police are indicating it appears crime related and not a terror attack.
