Valuable gems and jewelry stolen from a Savion home about 18 months ago were located, in PA (Palestinian Authority)-controlled Ramallah, in a jewelry store.
 
Shai (Shomron-Yehuda) police received a tip that jewels suspected of being stolen in the Savion heist were being sold in a Ramallah store.
 
District Coordinating Office officials were contacted and PA authorities seized the jewels and handed them over to Israeli officials, permitting them to confirm the suspect jewels were indeed from the Savion robbery.
