Soldiers manning the IDF’s Tarkumiya Checkpoint in the S. Chevron Hills area fired at the legs of an Arab male on Monday afternoon after he failed to comply with instructions to halt.
Soldiers feared the man was carrying an explosive device, ordering him to halt a distance from them, fearing he may be planning a suicide bombing attack. The suspect continued towards them, compelling troops to fire at his legs.
Bomb demolition experts inspected the wounded male before others were permitted to approach him. He was not carrying a bomb.

It really pays to listen to soldiers with guns when they order you to halt. He’s lucky they ONLY shot him in the legs.
The guns must be too heavy because they should really aim about 4 feet higher.
