Jordan’s King Abdullah II, who was visiting Washington last week, called on US President Barak Obama to halt “settlement construction” in Jewish communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron.

The Jordanian monarch is calling on the White House to “exert pressure on Israel” to halt “illegal construction in settlements”.

Addressing a Washington-based think tank, the Jordanian leader added the Arab peace incentive is the best option Israel has today.
