Minister of Culture & Sport (Likud) Limor Livnat was hospitalized for a number of hours to permit diagnostic tests on Monday after complaining of not feeling well while in Knesset.
She was checked by a paramedic who is stationed in Knesset and followed his recommendation to proceed to a hospital. She was transported in her government vehicle to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital where she underwent a barrage of tests.
During the afternoon hours her staff released a message that the minister was in her Tel Aviv home resting and will be returning to her regular schedule on Tuesday.
Aides added that attorney Yoram Malka, a longtime advisor to Livni, will be appointed as director-general of the ministry.
